You can still buy them on Ebay last time I looked, but for 2 or 3 times the original cost.

The 2nd category, Genpix SW1 used to be available at an affordable cost, but apparently some company bought a bunch of them and included them within a STB, using it for illegal reception of encrypted channels, and legal issues forced Genpix to stop selling them.
#Twinhan software drivers
I have drivers for the Twinhan (same as Visionplus). The first category that includes the Twinhan are very old PCI style, and probably only available on ebay. Purchasing one of the cards listed isn't easy.

I'm sure I'll be back with more questions in the future but for now I want to thank you very much! I have a new computer with an i9 processor and 16 gb of ram that should have enough expansion slots to accommodate a satellite card. I am definitely going to purchase one of these cards this month and give it a go. It will be without a doubt valuable information for those interested in getting into this aspect of the hobby. Wejones I appreciate you for taking the time to explain all of this. So you have to have a couple different versions available, and most compatability is found using Win-XP or even Win-2000. Also a problem is that newer versions of TSREADER won't use some older plugins or sources, and older versions won't use newer plugins, etc. Newer versions generate fake SIDs, so you have to search through the SIDs to find what you're looking for. This plugin works best when using a specific very old version of TSREADER, in which it identifies the SIDs. Re use of TSREADER, once you have it displaying PIDs properly, there are a couple plugins that will play DSS music directly, like a DSS version of an audio-rip program, but it is much more convenient to use a plugin called DSS-to-DVB, which converts the DSS stream to a basic DVB stream. I had put off trying this pgm until recently, and I'm not entirely sure of all of it's capabilities yet, but in addition to recording and playing music, it identifies SIDs and channel and song info, which is very nice. The last category using Crazyscan also has the option of streaming to Iboston's 131bytes program referenced in a prior message. TBS-6983 ( I have used ) (I had tried this receiver dozens of times, and couldn't get it to work, but finally was successful! ? ) To lock, I had to turn off blindscan, and enter the SR and select DirecTV in the tuning box, then stream to TSREADER via TCP source then change source to TCP_DSS.
#Twinhan software how to
With 7500, I could record in Linux and play in windows, however I haven't yet figured out how to load 6903x drivers into Linux (on RPi) ) TBS 6903x ( I have tried, and it locks, however similar to Prof7500 the drivers seem to have added 0x47 sync bytes so the stream is corrupted. You can record using Linux, then play recording back in Windows.) Prof 7500 ( I have used, however doesn't work directly from Windows. Using more modern receivers using Crazyscan streaming to TSREADER via TSReader_TCP_DSS.dll Genpix SW-1 using TSReader_Genpix_Unified_1_10.dll ( I have used ) Using Windows, including partial Win-7 support Nextorm S2101 using TSReader_Nextorm_S2101_DSS.dll source( I have NOT used ) Vision-plus 1020a using TSReader_Twinhan1020dss.dll source ( I have used )ĭVBWorld S2101 using TSReader_DVBWorld_S2101_DSS.dll source( I have NOT used ) Twinhan-1020a using TSReader_Twinhan1020dss.dll source ( I have used )
#Twinhan software windows
Using Windows XP or before & BDA drivers and old version of TSREADER What kid of sat card would I need for my computer to try to get these music channels and what kind of software? It would be a fun experiment. I only get sounds of the season and about 3 or 4 others. I believe you are right about the spotbeam because the 119 channels listed on Lyngsat are not all receivable here with my sub. I thank you so much for posting this!
